Day 2

Today's post is going to be short and sweet. I woke up this morning around 5:30 got to the gym to do cardio around 6 had a pretty good work out. I think from now on I will be using the stair master instead of the elliptical machine I just can't push myself as hard on the elliptical. I was trying to go pretty hard and didn't break a sweat. I'm not bragging by any means I am just saying I get a better workout on the stairs.
As for eating I got all six meals in not in the order I planned but they got eaten and I feel pretty good about it. Its like a second job to eat 6 meals a day.
Just got back from the Creighton game, they won which makes me happy. I even had to turn down the smoke pit tonight. Between Smoke Pit and Alvarado's I believe they are my two biggest weakness.

Smoke Pit and Alvarado's should be everyone’s enemy, because they are horrible food to begin with. Couple it with the fact that it’s probably easily a 1000 Calorie meal (I even notice that I am slightly fatter the next day), just states that they’re a pointless expedition to gluttony.

Two other things I would like you to try and incorporate (since it really doesn’t match your workout plan) is on every other cardio session break up your session between machines. Your could start on an elliptical, go for a high intensity for about 10 minutes (maybe even split rotating forwards for five minutes and then backwards for another five minutes). Then move on to another machine, like the treadmill, but you don’t have to run yet on it, you could just incline it at a high grade % (like 15% -30%), which at walking speed actually burns up the same amount of calories as does running on a flat plane. Though running is something you should try to work for, but it takes some time to work up to running speed… and I probably wouldn’t recommend it until you get down towards your goal weight.

I’m not trying to deter you from the stair master, because in my opinion it’s probably the hardest machine to use at the gym. This is just something you can do occasionally to spice up the cardio sessions, since after a while I find it hard to do any cardio piece of equipment for more than twenty minutes.
