Day 34








Weight-310lbs






I went to the gym in the morning and did my cardio on the incline treadmill my legs were feeling much better and I was able to do my workout at a high incline today. Again I only got in 5 meals but I am OK with it. The evening was spent "celebrating" St. Patrick's day so I didn't have much time to eat. Overall a good day hit a the 20lbs of weight loss landmark which is cool 299 is in the not too far distance! Tomorrow= FREE DAY Yahtzee!

Day 33










Weight- 314lbs






Today was filled with ups and downs. I went to the gym early and had a good upper body workout. By my next upper body workout I should have all my weights figured out for my new lifts. I came home ate breakfast and packed a couple lunch's to go down to the The Jay and watch Creighton play Nevada in the first round of the NCAA tournament. It was a great atmosphere down there a lot of current students and some old friends. It was a great game that went into overtime, unfortunately Nevada came out on top. Feeling pretty disappointed I decided to head back to my apartment, but before I got home I stopped at the mall to pick up a shirt to wear on St. Patrick's day. I ended up only getting 5 meals in today but am not disappointed I ate well and had a great workout.

Day 32

This morning I went to the gym to do cardio man was I sore! I didn't end up doing cardio on the high inclines like I normally do it was just too tough today. So I ended up walking the entire 20 Min's on a 12 incline which I am sure did alright for me, but I felt a little guilty either way. Yesterday's leg work out hit me in whole new area again Jon you did a great job focusing on different muscle groups within the larger group, thanks for coming up with the plan. Right under my glutes hurt which is a first. The best thing is even though I did squats yesterday no sore knees. Eating went well today I am cooking my last meal as I type (Salmon). Tomorrow I get to do upper body again. I love upper body workouts. I will probably get up fairly early so I can run some errands before the game tomorrow afternoon. I am feeling a little nervous about the game but with any luck they will play like they did during the MO Valley conference tournament, if they do they will win.

Day 31

New leg work out today, wow it was tough. I did squats on the smith machine which I have never done before. It actually was really good for my form and put a lot less stress on my knee as far as I can tell. I have never been able to squat all the way down just using a bar. Today I was able to squat to the point where my hamstrings touched my calves literally as far down as possible. I couldn't finish my last to sets I did 10 and 9 reps. So I know my legs are going to be really sore tomorrow. Speaking of sore, my upper body is really sore today it hurts to lift my hands over my head. Jon did a good job of coming up with exercises for me that target the same area but work different sub areas if that makes sense. Basically I am sore in a bunch a new places.




I got my myoplex via UPS yesterday which is a really good thing because I drank my last dreaded strawberry last night. The first time I ordered it I ordered the variety pack which included strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate. I liked the vanilla and chocolate but could not stand the strawberry. So this time I just ordered 42 chocolates. Tune in tomorrow for stories of sore quads!

Day 30

Eating went well, I really think I am starting to enjoy eating clean minus all the preparation. I think about McDonald's and Burger King and really want nothing to do with them. Now Chinese food, that's a different story. I had a good workout today too I have been doing incline treadmill. I really like walking on that thing I have gotten to the point where I can pretty much walk on it the whole time with out holding on to the handles when at the highest incline. After my workout I went to Target with one of my friends and picked up a big lunch bag for work, and a stability ball. Then went and played some basketball for a while and headed home. Now it's time for bed I'm really tired today.

I started week 5 with a new upper body routine that Jon planned out for me. (Thanks Jon)
I at well today except I didn't have time to pack breakfast this morning so I threw in an extra yogurt and cottage cheese instead of the egg whites and toast I normally have. Later this evening Jon took some more pictures for me. I know how he likes seeing me with my shirt off so I am sure it was more fun for him then me. I definitely lost weight in my face don't have the double chin that I did 4 weeks ago also noticeable loss in my chest and stomach. You can also see some difference in my back and arms. Slowly but surely making a transformation...

Day 28

Today was free day week 4. I woke up had two slices of whole wheat toast w/ natural Peanut butter. At work we ordered Chinese I had Sweet and Sour Chicken and two crab Rangoons. Later in the afternoon i had 3 girl scout cookies. When I came home Grilled Chicken Potato w/ cottage cheese, and mixed vegetables. I am excited to move on to my second mini challenge weeks 5-8 I will come up with my goals later this week when I get a concrete body fat measurement. I will also be taking picture soon I wasn't able to get a hold of Jon to help me with that so I will get those taken care of this week as well.
